This year's innovation prize of the Sustainable Solutions Kortrijk trade fair goes to Amfisol. Amfisol's mounting system is intended for solar panels that are placed on the ground. The system can be installed on uneven terrain without drilling into the ground.
To place a solar park on an uneven site, that site must normally be leveled. With Amfisol's mounting system, you don't need that. It is a flexible system that can be placed in places with height differences and thus compensate for inequalities of up to 15 degrees. To mount the system in the ground, there is no need to drill into the ground. Instead, it is held in place with some 'ballast stones'. Because it is relatively easy to install, the system can also be used for temporary energy projects. "Furthermore, the system made of polypropylene can be assembled without tools, which immediately saves a lot of time. A deserved winner!'', concludes jury member Valerie Verkain, editor-in-chief of the Belgian trade magazines Solar Energy Solutions, Elektricien and Sanilec.
